FAQ

Are COVID-19 protocols being practiced?

Yes, as part of our mission, we regularly clean the studio and props to ensure everyone’s safety after each session. We regularly hand sanitize, wear masks and gloves, and sessions are conducted with social distancing in place. We also take our temperature before each session and we ask our families/clients to do the same. If you need to reschedule because you are feeling sick or have tested positive for COVID-19, we will so at no extra cost.

Do you have props?

With our packages, we have wraps, blankets, hats, pillows, towels, butterfly wings, angel wings, tutus, crowns, baskets, beds, etc. for you to use. You may also bring your own as well if you choose to.

Do you bring props for in home sessions?

We bring a small selection of blankets and wraps to home sessions. We usually don’t bring baskets or other big props. At home sessions, we do more lifestyle, which is a little different than what we do in the studio (more elaborate posing, props, and lighting). We prefer to work with what you have at home, using your environment for a more personalized touch.

When should I book my newborn session ?

We recommend having the newborn session within the baby’s first 7 days which make for the best photos. The babies first 2 weeks is when they fall asleep easier and longer. This is when they are most cooperative for the photo session. Over 2 weeks? Don’t worry, it’s not too late for a session ! Even though it may be a little harder, we can still capyture great photos,. You can contact us before your due date or after your baby is born to book your session. We highly recommend our Maternity + Newborn package if you’re planning ahead of time.

Can we reschedule?

If one of the parties is ill we can reschedule the session. We reschedule for outdoor sessions in case of rain or snow. We’ll reschedule for the next available time slot.

Newborn hospital session?

Yes! When you book a hospital session, we will put on a tentative appointment for due date and the day before/after, so we have an open time slot when you are at the hospital. Once your baby is born contact me so We can take your hospital photos the day after.
